“Pearls and Blots”

I’m a cave full of clams

And pearls of mine abound

But you’re too selfish to receive them

So you just take them, adapt them, double D demean them

Took more than enough

My things became nothings

Petroleum like charcoal, diamonds like cubic zirconia — a blot in my feminine aura

You tarnished what we used to have

You giver, turned miner, turned shark in my waters

You giver, you taker

A blunt non-believer
